OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – A man was convicted in a plea deal on Monday of an Oshkosh double-stabbing.
Court records show that Jesse McComb pleaded no contest to two counts of first-degree reckless injury, which were originally attempted homicide charges stemming from the July 1 incident.
Court records show his sentencing is scheduled for January 29.
McComb became upset with Mark Haima outside of a bar after being unable to buy a cigarette from him, according to the criminal complaint.
McComb was knocked out after a bar patron punched him, following his stabbing of both Haima and Michelle Gebauer.
The complaint states that Haima was stabbed three times: twice in the abdomen and once on the arm, while Gebauer was stabbed twice in the abdomen.
