CARTER, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Two people from Appleton were arrested at the Potawatomi Carter Casino after deputies allegedly found methamphetamine and other drugs in their possession.
Forest County Sheriff deputies say they were called to the casino’s parking lot Wednesday for a report of a suspicious vehicle.
A deputy made contact with a 38-year-old woman from Appleton, sitting in the front passenger seat of the vehicle. While speaking with her, the deputy saw drug paraphernalia in plain view.
During a search, officials say methamphetamine and drug paraphrenia were found in her possession and a search of the vehicle turned up THC oil and additional drug paraphernalia.
The driver of the vehicle, a 44-year-old Appleton man, was inside the casino at the time. When authorities located the man, deputies say they found methamphetamine in his possession.
Officials say they also found LSD, ecstasy, oxycodone, prescription pills, THC and other drug paraphernalia.
Deputies have identified the two as Rebecca Brusoe and Jason Eide. They both were taken to jail and are being held on $10,000 cash bonds.
Formal charges have not been filed.
