GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – People in Northeast Wisconsin are stepping up to make a difference for those in Ukraine.
Volunteers from Wisconsin Ukrainians Inc. gathered Tuesday afternoon at St. Matthew’s Orthodox Church on Green Bay’s east side to gather more supplies to send to Ukraine.
The organization has been asking for any essential items that the people who are hiding in Ukraine *or* trying to flee the country… can use.
A truck leaving the church today stopped at Fox Valley Technical College in Grand Chute to load more donated items.
The truck will head to the Milwaukee area today to pick up more supplies, before heading to Chicago for a flight to Poland.
From there the goods from Wisconsin will be distributed to those who desperately need them.
