BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – A couple of new additions are coming to the NEW Zoo.
Two male red pandas are expected to arrive in Brown County from Calgary on Thursday.
The zoo’s two current red pandas are both females, which Neil Anderson hopes will lead to mating.
“Now red pandas are endangered. There are about 2,500 left on the face of the earth. It’s important to have programs like this — add to reproduction.”
The new pandas will be quarantined for 30 days.
