APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – Fox Cities Restaurant Week returns for a second course beginning this Thursday.
Participating restaurants throughout the Fox Cities will be offering price-fixed, three-course menu options between September 8 and September 15: $12 for lunch, $25 and/or $35 options for dinner. The offer excludes beverages, tax and gratuity. No tickets, coupons or cards are required for redemption.
“Last year we had an incredible response to the inaugural event and had over 26,000 diners come out during the eight-day culinary event,” says Samantha Dennis, event lead. “The restaurants saw a larger increase then they had expected. We had some restaurants seeing a 120% increase on a Friday night.”
Menus are posted at www.restaurantweekfc.com along with a complete list of participating restaurants and their hours of operation. Reservations are strongly recommended where available.
Diners are encouraged to share their experiences and post photos of their meals using the hashtag #foxfoodie. Like and follow Fox Cities Restaurant Week on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
There’s also an opportunity for hungry folks to help out a local family in need just by going out to eat.
“Take a picture of one of your courses, post it with the hashtag #hungerspecial,” Dennis says. “We’re looking to get a thousand of those posts and then Tundraland is going to kick in the financing to feed a family for a year.”
