ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Green Bay Packers have more than 176,000 new owners following another successful stock sale, the sixth in team history.
The team says it sold more than 198,000 shares to 179,482 people during the recently completed sale. Of those, 176,160 were people who did not previously own stock.
The sale raised about $65.8 million, which the team says will go toward upgrades at Lambeau Field, including new video boards.
Shares cost $300 each. The Packers made 300,000 shares available for this sale.
