FREEDOM, WI (WTAQ) – Officials say a man has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a Freedom store.
Outagamie County Sheriff’s deputies were called about a robbery in progress at the Dollar General Store on Highway 55 at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday.
According to deputies, a man left the store in a vehicle with an unknown amount of cash. No one was hurt during the robbery.
The description of the vehicle was given out to authorities over radio.
Kaukauna Police located the suspect’s vehicle 6 miles from the store and pulled him over on Evergreen Drive.
Police say the man admitted to his involvement and was arrested.
Officials say they don’t believe a weapon was used in the robbery.
