TOWNSHIP OF ASHIPPUN, WI (WTAQ) – A toddler is seriously hurt after a crash in Dodge County Thursday.
It happened around 2:45 p.m. in the Township of Ashippun.
Officials say a 32-year-old woman from Horicon was driving westbound on Town Rd. MM when she lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle then went into the ditch and struck a steep embankment and a utility pole.
A 3-year-old was ejected from the vehicle causing serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The child was airlifted to a hospital.
The driver was not hurt, but officials say alcohol appears to be a contributing factor in the crash.
