GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A former Brown County D.A.R.E. volunteer learned his fate in court Friday for stealing funds.
Early Fuller was sentenced to 60 days in jail for his role in stealing money while parking vehicles with former Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy and D.A.R.E. officer Kevin Vanden Heuvel. Fuller was also given 3 years’ probation, 100 hours of community service for each year, pay $3,500 in restitution and undergo an evaluation.
In June, Fuller pleaded no contest to the charge.
Judge Kendall Kelley withheld a one year jail sentence. That sentence may be put into effect if Fuller fails to follow his sentence requirements. He also ordered Fuller write a letter of apology to a number of Brown County Sheriff’s officers, as well as current and future D.A.R.E students.
Fuller will be eligible for early release from jail based on his behavior.
Vanden Heuvel was sentenced to two years in jail back in June.
