GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A man who was killed and dismembered last week on Green Bay’s west side has been identified.
A family member says the victim is Shad Thyrion.
The 25-year-old’s death was reported during the early morning of February 23rd, when police were called to a home on Stony Brook Lane. At the time, officers ruled the death as “suspicious.”
On Tuesday, 24-year-old Taylor Schabusiness was charged in the case. According to the criminal complaint, Schabusiness admitted to using drugs with the victim, engaging in sexual play, then strangling him. She then sexually abused him, dismembered the body and placed body parts in various locations in the home and a vehicle, the complaint says.
Schabusiness is being held on a $2 million cash bond. She returns to court March 22.
An online fundraiser has been created to assist the victim’s family with housing arrangements, transportation and funeral expenses.
