GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A Milwaukee man who has served 24 years in prison for two counts of first degree sexual assault has been released from the Green Bay Correctional Institution.
48-year-old Daryl Holloway was sentenced to 120 years in prison after being found guilty in 1993.
The co-director of the Wisconsin Innocence Project says that new DNA evidence proved Holloway was not responsible for the crime.
A Milwaukee County judge vacated Holloway’s conviction Tuesday and dismissed all charges.
