SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ)- A Green Bay juvenile was taken into custody after he was found operating a stolen vehicle in Menominee County Thursday.
Shawano Police Chief Dan Mauel said the vehicle was stolen from the Luigis parking lot.
“It was left running by an employee and the car was unlocked. When she came out to her car, it was gone.
Mauel said the vehicle was located the next day in Menominee County.
“Menominee Tribal Police and Menominee County Sheriff’s Department stopped the vehicle, and it was being driven by a 16-year old juvenile from Green Bay.”
The juvenile is being charged in Shawano County and will be referred to juvenile court for auto theft.
The names are not being released due to the age of the suspect.
