FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One of the men convicted for a 2017 murder was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison, and will be eligible to ask for parole after 31 years.
Devon Neuman, 26, was convicted by a jury in July of first-degree intentional homicide for the Sept. 23, 2017 death of Logan Foster.
Previously, Jesse Schultz was sentenced to 32 years in prison for his role in the murder.
Officials believe Foster and the two suspects began talking outside the tavern and walked across the street to the vacant lot where the suspects attempted to rob Foster. Police believe a physical altercation occurred and Foster was shot twice and killed. The men stole money from Foster and used it to buy drugs, according to the criminal complaint.
