APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – Appleton police need your help finding a dog that bit a boy on the city’s east side Wednesday.
Police say they were called to the 600 block of S. Buchanan Street around 5:45 p.m. A boy, 12, was riding his bike on the sidewalk when the dog approached him and bit him on the upper thigh. The child’s parents took him to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities were told the dog was medium-sized, with black and white coloring. It was leashed and being walked by 2 females who had a stroller with them. They were last seen heading south on S. Fidelis Street.
