COLEMAN, WI (WTAQ) – An apartment dweller in northeast Wisconsin is facing charges, for firing a gun around 3 a.m. Sunday outside the building where he lives.
It happened in the small village of Coleman in Marinette County.
Authorities said the 32-year-old man was drunk when he argued with another man and his girlfriend outside a bar. When he got back to his apartment, officials said he fired a shot into the ground.
The gun was recovered in a wooded area near the apartment building. No one was struck by the gunfire, and nobody was hurt.
Police said they found the man later and arrested him. He was booked into jail on possible charges of negligent use of a firearm while intoxicated, and disorderly conduct.
