GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Tuesday was bitter cold for many, but it also disrupted morning routines.
Proko-Wall Funeral Home Owner-Director Rob Walczyk arrived to find water freezing up the streets.
“It was a water main break” he said. “It was obvious with the ice freezing up the way the two streets were, there was a problem.”
Crews from NEW Water were contacted, but Walczyk said they had many jobs to respond to that day.
“They’re trying to take care of and prioritize the breaks where there’s business and more people affected” he said.
Doctors say working out in the bitter cold is always dangerous.
