ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) — Give Big Green Bay is over, and the annual fundraiser put on by the Green Bay Packers and the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation raised over $2.4 million for 45 area non-profits, nearly $400,000 more than last year.
Over $350,000 of matching funds are pitched in by the Packers and other donors.
“I think its just an expression as to how much this community cares about the work that non-profits are doing and the impact they’re having,” said Foundation President Dennis Buehler.
This year 4,390 individuals donated to the effort. New Community Shelter was the greatest beneficiary with $264,005 raised by 224 donors. The full list is available here.
