GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay Metro Fire Department units were dispatched for a structure fire in a two story single family residence last night.
Upon arrival at 1457 Eliza Street, the fire department found smoke and flames coming from the first and second floor of the rear of the structure.
The fire was extinguished in about 15 minutes as crews had to advance from the first to the second floor putting out fire. One resident was transported alert and oriented to the hospital for evaluation for smoke inhalation.
The fire is under investigation by the GBMFD fire marshals.
