GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – One of the two teens accused of setting a Green Bay apartment complex on fire will stand trial.
Online court records reveal that Jordan Gardner-Shedrick waived his preliminary hearing on Wednesday. He will be arraigned on June 29.
According to court documents, Gardner and Jesse Jones went to the apartment complex on Danz Avenue to confront a rival gang member. They told investigators that when going into the basement, they found spray cans marked “flammable”.
Gardner and Jones used a lighter to ignite a soaked rag.
60 people were left homeless after the fire, but no one was hurt.
Meantime, Jones is scheduled to enter a plea on June 15.
