GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump plans to campaign in Green Bay today.
According to his website, Trump’s appearance at the KI Convention Center is set for 6 p.m. Doors will now open at 3 p.m.
The appearance will be Trump’s first in Wisconsin since his scheduled visit to an event in Walworth County was canceled just a day after a recording was released featuring the billionaire making vulgar comments about grabbing women’s genitals.
House Speaker Paul Ryan has since said he won’t campaign with Trump — also not expected at today’s campaign stop is Gov. Scott Walker.
Local officials feel Trump will try to win over undecided voters — and he needs to after last week’s Marquette University Law School poll show him trailing Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton by 7 points.
