MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) – Manitowoc police have arrested a woman in connection with an overnight stabbing.
Police say it happened just before 3 a.m. Sunday. Officers were called to a residence for a report of a man who was stabbed.
The victim was allegedly stabbed by his girlfriend who was still at the residence when police arrived.
The 53-year-old Manitowoc woman was taken into custody. She’s jailed on charges of injury by negligent use of a dangerous weapon, battery and a probation and parole violation.
The victim, a 40-year-old Manitowoc man suffered a laceration to his forearm and was treated on scene.
