MENASHA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Next month, a new learning lab will open at Menasha’s public library.
On Tuesday, organizers held an open house for “SMITHworks” at the Elisha D. Smith Public Library.
It’s a space to learn new technology and create things. It offers classes in everything from cooking to 3-D printing.
“We can build a lot of different things,” said Brian Kopetsky, director of the Elisha D. Smith Public Library. “That’s really our hope is to get people creating things, and from that creation, having confidence to continue creation and exploring their interests.”
The “SMITHworks” space opens on March 14th.
