OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – A man has been charged for allegedly shooting a dog two times this past weekend.
Joseph Ihde is jailed on charges of intentionally shooting a staked animal and intentionally mistreating an animal.
The shooting took place at a Town of Neenah home on Saturday. The English mastiff, Broady, survived the incident and is being treated at the Fox Valley Animal Shelter.
A GoFundMe account has been set up to help pay for the dog’s vet bills.
An initial court appearance for Ihde in Winnebago County is set for Tuesday afternoon.
