GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The attorney for a man charged with sexually assaulting a student at Bay Port High School was convicted of a lesser charge.
On Monday, Christopher Wieber pleaded to one county of causing mental harm to a child. Wieber will be sentenced on August 21.
Investigators say Wieber pursued a relationship with a girl in his biology class. Police do not believe any other students were involved.
Wieber resigned as a teacher with the Howard-Suamico School District after he was charged.
