GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A judge in Brown County and the attorney for a county juvenile court employee facing drug charges have removed themselves from the case on Monday.
47-year-old Dale Leonard was in court for his arraignment on five counts, including two of manufacturing and delivery of amphetamine.
Judge John Zakowski recused himself from the case. Leonard’s attorney, according to court records, also withdrew.
While a new judge has not been assigned, the case could see a judge from outside Brown County take the case.
According to the criminal complaint, Leonard sold meth multiple times out of his home to undercover investigators.
Brown County officials say Leonard is currently on unpaid administrative leave.
