EPHRAIM, WI (WTAQ) – Co-workers and colleagues have joined the search for a doctor who’s been missing for two weeks in Door County.
Authorities said 63-year-old Jeffrey Whiteside of Grand Chute disappeared after he got into a spat with his wife and walked away. That was on June 29th at a marina in Ephraim, on the Green Bay side of Door County near Peninsula State Park.
Almost 20 volunteers searched the area for about 6 hours Sunday — and a nurse practitioner says they’re not giving up.
Whiteside is a doctor at Fox Valley Pulmonary Medicine, and his family has a vacation home in Ephraim.
