SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Shawano Police put a stop a bank robber Monday afternoon.
Officers were called to the Capital Credit Union just before 3 p.m. for a report of a hold up alarm.
When they got there, officers saw the suspect leaving the building. When the suspect did not listen to verbal commands, a foot pursuit began.

The suspect was then taken into custody without injury.
No one was hurt during the incident.
Officers say money taken from the bank was recovered from the suspect.
Police believe the individual in custody is the only suspect and there is no further danger to the public.
