APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – A crash involving an SUV and a motorcycle leaves an Appleton man dead.
Authorities say it happened around 5:50 p.m. Sunday on Northland Avenue at Meade Street.
According to the Wisconsin DOT, the SUV was driving east on Northland when it tried turning left onto Meade. That’s when a motorcycle driving west on Northland hit the passenger side of the SUV.
The motorcycle rider, who’s 46, was rushed to the hospital where he later died. He was not wearing a helmet.
The 48-year-old Appleton man driving the SUV was not hurt. He has not been ticketed or arrested.
The investigation is ongoing.
