ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) – Company officials have announced that Mark Rourke has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer at Schneider National.
Rourke will be in charge of day-to-day operations and all North American service offerings will report to him.
“While Mark will now oversee our day-to-day operations, I will focus more time on the strategic growth of our business and long-term positioning,” Chris Lofgren, Schneider president and CEO, said in a statement. “Additionally, as the regulatory and compliance environment continually evolves, it requires more external engagement. I will work closely with our Government Affairs team at both the federal and state levels to ensure that the interests of our company and industry are promoted and protected.”
Rourke has been with Schneider since 1987 in a variety of positions.
