MADISON, WI (WTAQ) – Nine Wisconsin schools are among 335 honored in the National Blue Ribbon Schools program.
All were chosen for their academic excellence, or progress in closing racial and ethnic achievement gaps.
The Badger State winners are Onalaska and Washburn high schools — Sevastopol middle and high school in Door County — Platteville Middle School — Lakeshore Middle School at Mequon — Endeavor and Howard elementary schools — Magee Elementary at Two Rivers — and the combined St. Stanislaus and St. Stephen private elementary school in Stevens Point.
The schools will be recognized at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. November 9th and 10th.
