NEENAH, WI (WTAQ) – Police in Neenah say one man was wounded after shots were fired early Saturday.
Police were called to the 1800 block of Harrison Street around 2:20 a.m. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers say suspects involved in the shooting retreated into an apartment. SWAT team members were called in to help evacuate other residents of the complex.
Following several hours of refusing to leave the apartment, the occupants did emerge as one of them carried a 1-year-old child.
Police arrested a 16-year-old Neenah boy for the shooting, while another 18-year-old Neenah man was taken into custody for an unrelated warrant.
The toddler was turned over to a parent. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
