GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A man who allegedly was fleeing from an undercover drug officer when he crashed into a squad vehicle was ordered Friday to stand trial.
Juan Pedroza faces six counts, including fleeing an officer and recklessly endangering safety, for the Jan. 11 incident in Ashwaubenon.
Pedrozs waived a preliminary hearing Friday. His arraignment is set for Feb. 28, court records show.
According to the criminal complaint, an officer attempted to stop the vehicle Pedroza was driving. Pedroza sped away, then slowed down, and allegedly crashed into the vehicle.
The officer was taken to hospital after reporting pain in legs, ankles, shoulders, neck and back.
