GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Teams of high schoolers from around the country gathered at the Lambeau Field Atrium for a Vex Robotics competition.
It features 72 teams that will compete with and against other schools in a series of back-to-back robotics challenges.
They must complete a game using the team-designed and programmed robots.
This year’s theme is “Tipping Point.”
“Their job is to take the mobile goals and place them on the platforms and balance,” said Ron Lohse, Fox Valley Competitive Robotics. “There’s also the rings that they try to place on the posts in the goals, and there’s points for doing that.”
The competition continues today.
