BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Booze and guns don’t mix, and another example of that was apparently highlighted in Brown County Wednesday night.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Department says they were called to Cooperstown Road in the Town of New Denmark around 8 p.m.
According to investigators, a 40-year-old man had accidentally shot a 39-year-old man in the stomach. The victim is expected to recover.
Authorities believe alcohol may have played a role in the shooting, which remains under investigation.
