BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – The Brown County Sheriff’s Department says three teenagers have been arrested for allegedly setting porta potties on fire.
Deputies were called around 11:30 p.m. Friday to Scray Hill Park in Ledgeview.
A witness says they followed a vehicle with the suspect leaving the park and gave authorities their license plate number.
The vehicle was located by deputies and pulled over. The driver was suspected to be impaired, and deputies found marijuana and drug paraphernalia on another teen inside the vehicle.
17-year-olds Nathanial Diederich and Isaiah Heuby-Waubeno, both from De Pere, were jailed on charges of OWI, possession of THC/Drug Paraphernalia and party to the crime of arson.
A 16-year-old De Pere boy was taken to juvenile detention.
The fires destroyed two porta potties, owned by Jim’s Johns, and valued at $3,700.
