GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A humane society in Green Bay says it plans to recover more than 60 cats from an alleged hoarding residence in Forest County.
The Bay Area Humane Society says it reached an agreement to pick up 40 cats from a house last week, but the homeowner only gave up 7.
Officials say the animals will recover after being malnourished.
FOX 11 says some of the cats are wild, and they might not be able to be captured.
The humane society says it plans to get a search warrant so it can rescue the cats from what it calls “unsafe and unsanitary living conditions.”
