KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ) – A police chase Sunday from Kaukauna to Abrams ends with two juveniles arrested.
Grand Chute police say a driver reported his car was stolen from a gas station after he went inside but left the car unlocked with the keys inside.
Kaukauna police say one of their officers spotted the stolen vehicle along Interstate 41 and Highway 55 just after 9 p.m. Lt. Jamie Graff says the driver would not pull over as the officer attempted a traffic stop.
The chase continued through Green Bay, where Graff says the Kaukauna police car got a flat tire due to the use of stop sticks. The pursuit was picked up by Oconto County, and the chase ended near the split of I-41 and Highway 141.
Grand Chute police say two juvenile females, both reported runaways, were taken into custody.
A pair of Outagamie County squad cars also suffered minor damage due to the stop sticks.
