MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) – Charges were filed Monday against a former Kiel High School wrestling coach accused of sexting a female student.
During an initial appearance in Manitowoc County court, Eric Billmann was charged with exposing a child to harmful material and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct.
Online court records indicate Billmann was released on a signature bond.
Authorities say Billmann sent sexually explicit text messages to at least one female student. There are no allegations of physical contact between them.
Billmann was fired from the school, where he worked part-time.
