UNDATED (WTAQ) – If you still dream of a White Christmas, you might have to let that go.
Michigan State agricultural meteorologist Jeff Andresen says the Midwest will stay under the El Nino’s upper air pattern that has given us our mild December.
One exception is northwest Wisconsin, where snow has come and gone — and a winter weather advisory is in effect for another 2 to 5 inches through late Wednesday.
For the rest of us, the dry but rainy period will help an estimated 2 million Wisconsinites with their travel plans between now and January 3rd.
But it might not be easy to drive in southern Wisconsin Wednesday, with wind gusts up to 50 miles an hour and wind advisories in effect into Christmas Eve morning.
