GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The first big winter storm of the season has arrived with a vengeance — and her name is Ashley.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the entire listening area from 3 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The storm will bring winds gusting up to 45 miles per hour, along with heavy rounds of wet snow.
Monday evening, this combination will lead to near-blizzard conditions into the overnight hours causing travel conditions to decline rapidly.
The heaviest snow will fall between 4 p.m. Monday and midnight.
Monday night remains windy, especially early. Most of the area will see between 9 and 12 inches with lesser totals southeast of the Fox cities.
