UNDATED (WTAQ) – Several communities in our listening area have declared snow emergencies thanks to a major winter storm which could dump a foot of snow.
Snow emergencies mean vehicles are prohibited from parking on city streets so crews can keep roadways clear. Vehicles found parked on city streets during the emergency or ban could be ticketed or towed at owners’ expense.
There’s also no overnight parking allowed during a snow emergency.
Here is a list of places and restrictions:
- Appleton (Mon 5pm – Wed 8am) (**NOTE: No parking in metered spots downtown will be allowed through storm cleanup which is expected to last until Wed. or Thursday. During that time, people can park for free in all city-owned ramps. That’s the red, blue, yellow and green ramps downtown…not the YMCA owned ramp in Soldiers Square.)
- Ashwaubenon (Mon 7pm – Tues 12noon)
- Village of Bellevue (Mon 7pm – Tues: 6pm)
- De Pere (Mon Midnight – Tues 12noon)
