The Milwaukee Bucks have no trouble with the Heat, beating Miami for a third time this season 109-102 at American Airlines Arena in Miami Tuesday night. The Bucks improved to 3-0 against the defending Eastern Conference champs with strong bench play. Milwaukee reserves outscored Miami’s bench 53-14, hitting big shots down the stretch after playing to a draw through three quarters. Brandon Knight and Khris Middleton shared scoring honors with 17 points, Jared Bayless added 15 in the victory. Milwaukee (23-22) wraps up a three game road trip in Orlando Thursday night.
Second year forward Giannis Antentokoumnpo will be a participant in the NBA’s Slam Dunk competition during All-Star weekend next week at Madison Square Garden.
