The Green Bay Phoenix women stayed perfect in the Horizon League, extending their winning streak to 7 in a row by beating Valparaiso in Indiana Thursday night 67-52. Six players had at least 8 points in the balanced victory, led by freshman Jessica Lindstrom with 13 to go along with a career high 8 rebounds. Megan Lukan and Mehryn Kraker each scored 10. The Phoenix raced out to a 38-17 halftime lead. The Crusaders were able to chip away thanks to second half foul trouble but Green Bay was never threatened by the last place team in the standings. Green Bay is now 16-3 on the season, 6-0 in the Horizon and they close out a four game road swing against UIC in Chicago Saturday night.
