As if getting swept in a two game series last weekend at Adrian, Michigan wasn’t bad enough, the now 7th ranked St. Norbert Green Knights will be without their All-American goaltender the rest of the season. David Jacobson, the Sid Watson Award winner as the top Division III player in the nation last year, suffered a broken leg on Saturday night and will be lost for the season. He’s won 75 games in net during his St. Norbert career. Sophomore Tony Kujava of Green Bay Notre Dame High School will take over in net the rest of the way.
