A year ago, the Wisconsin Badgers ran into a buzzsaw in Lincoln but they didn’t let it happen again, scoring a 65-55 victory over the Nebraska Cornhuskers Tuesday night. The Badgers led 27-13 at halftime and while Nebraska closed the gap to five late in the game, Wisconsin knocked down 13 of 16 free throws over the final two and a half minutes to seal their 7th consecutive victory. Sam Dekker matched his career high with 21 points, 13 coming in the first half. Frank Kaminsky had 13 points and 12 rebounds and Bronson Koenig continued his strong play in relief of injured Traevon Jackson with 13. The Badgers, ranked 4th in the coaches poll and 5th in the AP, improved to 22-2 on the year and at 10-1 in the Big Ten, have a three game lead in the conference race. Wisconsin will host Illinois on Sunday.
