(WNFL)- Giannis Antetokounmpo will start for the Milwaukee Bucks tonight, when they play the Knicks in New York. The 20-year-old forward from Greece was benched for the entire game on Wednesday night, when the Bucks lost by five at home to Cleveland. Coach Jason Kidd confirmed this morning that Antetokounmpo will start against the Knicks. He said the benching was not meant to punish the player — but instead, to take the pulse of the rest of his team as it gets closer to an Eastern Conference playoff bid. The Bucks can clinch a post-season spot tonight with a victory over the Knicks and one loss by either Boston, Indiana, or Brooklyn. The Bucks can earn a season sweep of the Knicks. They’re 3-0 against New York, with their most recent victory coming on January 15th by 16 points at the NBA’s Global Games in London.
