(WNFL)- Green Bay sophomore Avery Steen has been named to all-Horizon League women’s golf team. Steen led the Phoenix in scoring average this season. She’s the first Green Bay golfer since Katie Tabbert in 2009 to receive post-season honors. The award was announced on the eve of the Horizon League women’s golf tourney, which runs from today through Sunday at Howey-in-the-Hills Florida. Also, Wisconsin is competing in the Big Ten men’s golf tournament today through Sunday in Newburgh Indiana. The Badger women have their conference golf tourney through Sunday in Indianapolis.
