APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Lawrence University students can now get free bus rides throughout the Fox Valley.
The university and Valley Transit are teaming up for a pilot program to offer the rides to students. The university will reimburse Valley Transit for students’ fares.
Students who are unsure of how to access buses or get to where they need to go can sign up for a “travel trainer.”
Valley Transit offers similar services to students of Fox Valley Technical College and Appleton public schools.
