(WNFL)- Wisconsin senior Frank Kaminsky is meeting with a number of NBA teams at the league’s scouting combine in Chicago. The 7-footer is not doing any drills. Kaminsky said it’s hard to top his accomplishments during his senior year at the UW, when he was the consensus national player-of-the-year. So he’ll let those achievements speak for themselves. Kaminsky is scheduled to meet today with officials from the Milwaukee Bucks, who have the 17th pick in the first round. He said it would be “cool” to play for the Bucks, but he’ll just have to wait and see what happens. If there’s a consistent theme to what teams are telling him, Kaminsky says he needs to work on his defense and bulk-up his body to make it more ready for the rough-and-tumble NBA. Badgers’ forward Sam Dekker took part in skills competition at the combine yesterday. He decided to turn pro after his junior year. Menomonee Falls native JP Tokoto also left college ball after his junior season at North Carolina. He had a one-handed dunk during a team scrimmage in the combine’s opening day. The pre-draft event wraps up today.
