APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) — A shed fire in Appleton was caused by a wood burning heating device that was left unattended.
The Appleton Fire Department was called Wednesday around 8:30 p.m. for a fire at the back of a house.
The home was located at the 1300 block of West Second Street.
Fire crews say the shed was fully engulfed and was put out within 15 minutes.
Damage was caused to some trees, a nearby metal shed, and other items.
No injuries were reported.
